Scope of Services: Survey, geological mapping and providing advice on ground stabilization during excavation around the spillway

 

Construction of Nam Ken Dam is a subsidiary project of the 1,600 MW Hongsa Lignite Power Plant in Hongsa City, Sayaboury Province, Lao PDR, which was scheduled to generate electricity for the Electricity Generating Authority of Thailand in 2015. The dam will also be beneficial for agricultural activities and feed daily consumption of people. TEAM GROUP provided engineering assistance to prevent and address the problem of slope failure during excavation around the spillway.
